Who I believe to be the best surgeon of his type on the planet.
On 17 May 2023 I had to undergo a triple bypass. I was totally impressed with Dr. Brad Litke, MD. His PA's and support staff. I experienced almost no pain, in fact I was taken off all pain medications, just 24 hours post op, as I did not need them. A testament to the skill witch he wheeled his blade. I was able to get up and walk around the CARDIO INTENSIVE CARE UNIT, also approx 24 hours post op. Transferred to the CARDIO REHAB ward after 4 days, where I spent 5 more days.
By comparison: in 1980 I had to have what is considered a much simpler operation, an appendectomy. That laid me up in the hospital (different hospital) for 16 days. In so much pain I was pushing the demurral button every 15 minutes. Then spent another week at home just getting where I could walk again without really bad pain.
